Very dark, almost black with a sort of dark fudge coloured head.

Tastes like coffee and rye bread. Pretty bitter. Lots of malt. A hint of dark berries.
A bit sweet in the aftertaste.

Mouthfeel is good, rather thick. Low carbonation.

Overall, this is a great christmas beer and tastes like a Dugges beer.

So... first swedish christmas beer this year. According to the brewery it's a new brew for this year.

Pours a darkbrown, almost black color with a nice, stable light brown head.

Smell is a bit peculiar and surprising at first. Notes of smoke, pine forest, some dull(?) fruitiness, slightly of burnt malt.

Taste is malty, smokey and a bit spicey (christmas spices) with notes of pine-needles.

Mouthfeel is pretty filling, the beer is medium bodied with low carbonation.

Overall a nice beer from Dugges!

Rudolf Ren Ale is a nice christmas brew from Dugges. Really interesting!

Looks nice, almost black with a nice white/beige head.

Smells intresting, some christmas spices together with a slight smokiness and some sweet malts.

Taste is similar to smell but therese a slight sourness that bothers me a bit. You can really tell that this is a "malt dominated" beer. Some notes of dark berries can be found among the christmas spicyness and malts.
