Bubblegum has always been a beer description reserved for German wheat beer. But with the fruit-centric character of Hazy IPA, we now find these words on a bottle of hoppy beer. What twenty years of beer drinking has taught me is that I don't know the difference between an IPA and a Hefeweizen anymore.
Hazy but reasonably so, Bubble Gummy builds a rich lather of foam before wafting over the senses with tropical fruit, orchard fruit, citrus and herb. As its cereal malts apply a gentle coat against the tongue, the flavors are plump, juicy and moderately sweet with cotton candy, shortcake and honeysuckle.
The hops govern the middle palate as the fruit flavors pull from the grain sweetness and highlight the tastebuds with papaya, pawpaw, pineapple, banana and orange.Trending more citrusy as the taste lingers on the late palate, the suggestion of grapefruit, lime and lemongrass extend into a reasonably bitter taste with a peppery resin bite.
Medium bodied and trending malty-dry, the finish comes with a botainical, gin-like spice but with a strong spruce edge. A long linger of almost bitter supremecy leads the beer shy of "west coast" character but its tepid "juiciness" leaves it lacking in roundness. Its a beer that straddles the fence of styles and doesn't know what it wants to be.

Hazy is the new craze. Nose is very citrusy as is the taste. Head is very white. Lacing g is awesome. Abv isn’t overbearing on the palate. Superb ipa
