Copenhagen 6/11 2023. 50 cl can from Kihosjkh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. Wobbling yellow letters on a colorful can. Like a bad drunken bout on a monday night,
Pours opaque dark brown with a small dark beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thi rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a dark, sugary and potent malty odor mingling with dark hard alcohol. Brown sugar, vanilla, dark chocolate and molasses. Fumes of whisky peeking in.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, soft, viscous, a bit sticky, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is quite bitter with a sugary underone. Lingering. Finish is surprisingly dry.
Even more potent than an Irish coffee.
