Copenhagen 26/3 2025. 50 cl can from A Good Case web-shop. Colorful can based in the blue colors in Dugges' usual design.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. Bubbly. Disappears after 10 seconds leaving a solemn dark fluid behind. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with sweet spice and alcohol. Dark roasted malts, brown sugar, vanilla and cinnamon. Hints of Tonka beans. Cheap sweet Brandy.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, viscous, fat, creamy, flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a heavy sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and laden with sweet spice and alcohol. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
A sweet spice bomb with a touch of alcohol.
