The colour is deep amber (30 EBC), the liquid is clear. The three finger head is off-white and compact. It sinks slowly leaving lots of lacing.
The smell is smooth and semi-sweet with lots of caramel and flowery hops. Lots of nuts. Mild bitterness. Some prunes and apricots, hints of toffee and a touch of vanilla.
The taste is fresh and bitter. Quite a lot of hoppy flavours; grass, fresh and dried flowers, dried apples. It is not very sweet. Prunes, apricots and red apples plus some walnuts. Medium to light body. The aftertaste is a bit light with some red berries, meadow flowers and a very smooth light sweetness. The finish is very British with apricots and mild spicy hints.
The carbonation is medium strong, the smooth small bubbles short-lived. The liquid is light but not watery.
A solid English bitter with a very humble modern twist. Oh, is the glass empty already?

A: The color is lovely reddish brown, while the white compact head is medium large and sinks, leaving poor lacings.
S: Lots of bitter hops along with a healty dose of roasted caramell malts. The floral hops brings some ripe red apples and faint citric notes. Buttery.
T: Close to the smell, but the balance between bitter hops and roasted malts is better.
M: Aftertaste lingers with nice bitterness. Body is surprisingly full considering the low ABV. Low carbonation.
O: A nice Bitter where the roasted malts makes the difference.
