Beer bottle (33cl.), tasted in 2002.
Apperance : yellow color, with white foam head (not persistent).
Smell : strong notes of blueberry.
Taste and mouthfeel : the blueberry also dominates, but reasonably, it is associated with some bitterness that balances this beer.
Drinkabiity : an average beer in the style blond ale.

A blonde blueberry ale. Prominent and lasting head on a totally transparent pale golden body only light orange notes. The smell is not really developed, light sweet notes, but the fruitiness is low. It grows nicely as the brew warms up though. In the taste, a dry malty character with notes of liquorice, maybe some cider like apple notes, almost peppery, and then fruity notes of blackberry (one you know it
). The blueberries add a light fruity note, but no sweetness. Almost wooden, quite dry. The carbonation is surprisingly really high, and thus really has an impact on the palate. Some litchi notes maybe, or curaçao. Mouthfeel is decent, quite round, although the excessive carbonation is annoying at the beginning. It gets more syrupy after a while, almost gluey. Not bad.
