This is the beer I most enjoy in Senegal, but with that said, it is made to please the masses. What this beer lacks in flavor, it makes up for in bottle character. This 63cl green bottle with a gazelle on the cover is generally the best bet at a bar. Even though the ABV% is slightly lower than the others, 4.2%, the cost is the same as a small bottle of Flag, the other Senegal beer. The yellow color almost looks like some one is trying to pull a fast one on you by filling the beer bottles with 1/3 water and the rest beer. Don't worry, the carbonation will still tickle the tongue as long as you keep her in the bottle. You get more bang for your buck by drinking Gazelle and it is lighter than the other two, which means the African sun might be hot, but Gazelle wont dehydrate you. This is another Euro pale lager that is very light in color and taste.
