Pours very light golden, almost no head and lacing is minimal.

Smell is mostly malty with some bitterish hops far in the background. When drinking it, the first thought was that the beer has been diluted - a bit later some slight lemony bitterness sets in and that is it - you need to sip it again to be reminded you drank beer 10 seconds ago. No aftertaste as well. Mouthfeel is quite thin with medium carbonation which tents to disappear fast.

I would not drink it again, it certainly was not worth the money.

Standard reusable 50cl brown bottle. White yellow and maroon label with the "Sarkany" crest of a fledgling dragon.

Light yellow verging on gold body, with a fair amount of coarse-bubbled carbonation. Head looks fizzy and unstructured. Leaves only a slight ring around the edge, and almost no lacing.

Slight cidery nose, hints of carbonic acid, and a little bit of matellic hoppy resin, but not much. Pretty weak on the nose, and the aromas that it does have are pretty forgettable.

Taste is a little better, with a clean, crisp bitterness, and an easy-drinking but light back-palate. Mouthfeel is also quite crisp, leaving this one pretty refreshing.

Better than a lot of the generic Euro lagers you come across, but it's still not that far away from swill. Easier to drink than most.

The colour is pale yellow; the large white foam sinks slowly down to an airy head.

The smell is malty with notes of bread, some aroma hops and some minerals.

The taste is unbalanced: Sweet stuffy notes are blended with quickly fading bitterness. The taste is watery. The aftertaste got metallic and mineral flavours with some sweetness.

The carbonation is low, almost flat. The bubbles are small.

A tedious beer.
