Poured from 500mL can into a tall kitchen glass. Best by 8/12/23. "Búza" just means "wheat" in Hungarian, but this is brewed with orange peel and coriander as well.
Appearance: medium yellow hue with a nice haze and two fingers of pillowy ivory foam atop. A handsome witbier!
Smell: nicely wheaty with a soft malt aroma and a good balance of fruity coriander and hint of orange. Subtle and enticing.
Taste: sweet malt character with a pleasant wheatiness and a light coriander and orange spicing. I like the subtleness of the spice, but the beer is too sweet for my taste. It is brewed with a little fructose according to the label; perhaps just a little too much.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good, well-integrated carbonation and a pleasant creaminess.
Overall: this is a perfectly cromulent witbier, but for its extra sweetness. I am enjoying it, though!
