Poured from 500mL can into my Belvárosi sörfesztivál tulip. Best by 7/27/25.
Appearance: pale golden hue with a clear body and a thick head of frothy ivory foam, leaving a good, solid, chunky lace on the glass. Brilliant!
Smell: quite grainy, but with a fair dose of sweetness, and a dash of spicy Saaz hops. It’s good, but the parts don’t exactly meld … the balance is off, or something.
Taste: mildly sweet, and a little less grainy than the aroma. The hops are a bit on the bitter side toward the end; again, it’s not bad, but it’s not properly balanced. It’s okay, definitely not the worst pale lager out there.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a pretty good carbonation and a decent creaminess.
Overall: a reasonably decent, if bitter, Euro pale lager. You could do a lot worse.
