I poured a little too vigorously and left a massive (heh. heh.) honeycombed head. Big bubbles. Amber with an almost cherry red hue at to some degree.
Nose is sweet honey malts and some citric fruit.
Flavour starts out heavily malty sweet, then some alcohol and a big bitter finish. Big sweet and bitter mainly. Finish is all bitter and some alcohol.
Probably would taste better cold and/or on a caribbean beach. But being that my brother brought it back from the VI and sent me on one of the most memorable Christmas day treasure hunts with hand drawn pirate maps.... I like it more than I like the beer itself if that makes any sense.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
