On tap into a dimpled beer mug
A - Beer is hazy/cloudy and copper/amber in color with moderate carbonation visible and bubbles rising moderately quickly towards the surface. Head is 1 finger in height and off white in color and a frothy in appearance. Head is retained for quite some time and is just a little rocky by the time the beer is finished. 4/5
S - The primary notes that hit my nose are a sweet caramel malt along with a toasted white breadiness. There is a bit of dark fruit as well as pine from the hops. Aroma is fairly pronounced which is hard to accomplish in a setting full of people and food. 4.25/5
T - As with the aroma I am getting a strong sweet caramel note right off the bat and then a toasted breadiness. Also in the middle there is a bit of dark stone fruit and a spiciness that reminds me of clove and coriander. On the back end a piney hop bitterness comes into play with the bitterness lingering for a short while upon swallowing. 4/5
M - This beer is medium bodied with a moderate carbonation burn throughout the profile. This one comes across as a bit creamy but there is a light crispness to it as well due to the amount of hops used as well as the lower abv of 5.3%. 4/5
O - Very good offering from this brewery which is a very nice take on an American style Brown Ale, which according to the beer menu is what they were going for. Probably one of the more bitter offerings that I tasted on my trip to Prague but definitely not one to be missed if you have the chance to drink it. 4/5
