This festival classic is a beer with a lower bitterness, strong malt body, but remains a high drinkability. Unsual aroma is given by modern German hops.

Had on tap. Clear brownish red amber body with a full khaki head and tons of lacing. Smells hoppier for style, but yeast and malt are right behind, caramel tones are simpler. Taste is thankfully not as hoppy as it smells, earthy more than caramel, yeast is spot on though with bready tones swirling around the malt base. Feel is a bit light on the palate, smooth sure, but doesn't stick around
