Sampled on 9/24/05, came out an ever so slightly cloudy pale gold under a 1/2 finger white head that fades pretty quickly, leaving no lace. The nose is very malty, with a touch of sweetness. The mouth is mildly carbonated and light. The opening is smooth and grainy, supported by a respectable hops backbone. The bitter is slightly metallic, but not long-lasting. A bit of dryness emerges in the aftertaste. Very quaffable, this is a good effort at the style.
