Half-pint, hand-pulled at the Firs Club, Codsall on 17 Nov 2012.
Almost headless black bodied brew: at least my pour didn't have much of a covering, just a wisp and collar of small, tanned bubbles.
Roasted malty molasses in the nose and taste: dark chocolate and coffee notes fill your nostrils and mouth as you get to grips with the brew. The beer has a nice bitter finish, a very pleasant brew in deed, pity about the no-show of the head. The body feel was good, the flavours just don't fade away and the alcohol level doesn't try and get into the taste.
