500ml bottle. A super smooth, lightly citrus golden ale. Bitterness is leafy and refreshing. Easy-drinking, low in alcohol, and enjoyable, if not memorable.

Cask drawn. The Feathers Ludlow.
Clear straw. Thin head.
Floral aroma.
The malt and hops balance quite nicely. A toffee apple sweetness leads to a mild astringent finish.
Easy drinker.

500ml, bottle-conditioned. Pours gold with subsiding white head. Aroma: floral hop. Taste: noble hop. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Mouthfeel: light bodied, thin. Overall: pleasant pale ale. Polish lubelski is the aroma hop.

500ml Bottle: slightly out of date when poured into my Abbot Ale tankard @ home on 29 Dec 2012 (BBD of 25 Nov 2012).
Very palegolden yellow and hazy with a thin white head.
Again not really impressed (as I wasn't with the cask pints I've had): citrus notes in the taste and nose but lacks real flavour and anything of interest.
The worst beer I've ever had from Hobson's?

Pours with a light frothy head that quickly fades, colour reminds me of a cloudy larger. The nose offers slight malty citrus notes. On the palate it is medium weight and dry with a nice refreshing citrus bite that finishes with a biscuity hint. I enjoyed this and would probably drink more as a session beer.
