12ozer bought as part of a mixed Paper City sixer from Yankee Spirits, Sturbridge, MA. Another of the undated, generic-labelled Limited Brewer's Offerings.
Poured into an imperial pint glass, formed a 1/2" off-white head over the clear dark golden brew. Head fades at a moderate pace, with good lacing. Aroma is pale malts with a somewhat grassy hops character. Taste is sweet upfront, goes spicy hops in the middle, and that pretty defines the rest of the flavor. Mouthfeel is not bad, and drinkability is nice and easy. Eh, middle of the road for this one.

12 oz bottle, poured into pint glass. Roughly 50 degrees.
The beer appeared very clear and dark golden. Big white head that faded quickly. It smelled a little grassy. I noticed this too with the Goat's Peak bock but less so here. The taste was lacking some malt character and alcohol content that I expect with a maibock. It felt over-all thin and mild. It was drinkable as long as you aren't bothered by the grassy flavor and thin feel that seemed out of style. Over all I wasn't incredibly impressed. I bought a six pack of flying dog heller hound at the same time and I'm glad I have it.
