Pours a crystal clear, well carbonated medium gold, topped with a two finger marshmallowy white head, leaves webs of lacing.
Toast, grass, lemon, flowers and grain in the aroma.
Lemon and grass in the snappy taste, toast and grain.
When it warms up there is a fruitiness to the aroma and taste, a bit odd.
Light bodied and crisp, dry and very drinkable.

Poured with a giant pillowy and frothy head, and a somewhat darker than expected body. Weird aromas for the style that seemed fruity, kind of like apricots or passion fruit with a faint tinge of noble hop aroma. Initial taste confirms the same fruitiness which seems a little out of place with the mild hop flavors but subsides with each drink. A little sweet to make it drinkable, but there are enough drying hops to clear the tounge. Noble hop aromas peek through as it warms, but so does some buttery diacytl flavor. Mouthfeel is medium thick and coats the mouth before the hops leave your mouth dry. An ok lager, but needs some tweaking to make it more enjoyable.

Presentation: 12 oz brown with a best if served by date on the back label.
Appearance: Light yellow golden hued brew with a bright clarity and a creamy yet thin white lace lays on top.
Smell: Handful of fresh grain with a bit of herbal hop twang.
Taste: A bit crisp but more smooth than crisp with a chewy malt back bone medium body. Grain flows throughout the mouth with a subtle sweetness, a pale malt sweetness that fades into a pleasant husky grain. Hops balance well shooting a semi harsh and ultra spicy bitterness right into the mix of things. In the middle is a raw maybe earthy or a raw veggie flavour of fresh cut grass ... the finish dries a little with mostly lingering mild astringent grain / spicy hop mix and a back-up of sweetness under the tounge.
Notes: Not a bad brew to say the least though it puts a bit of "rough and tumble" on the palate. Not a soft delicate pilsner more of a in your face style brew. If it cleaned up its act it might be better but perhaps not ... I like it the way it is and that's that.

Overall a decent American-style Pilsner. I enjoyed its maltier than normal character and full-body which made it unique. Lacked in the aroma department though and had but a faint flavour of a traditional Pils.
