Had on cask at the Paradise City Tavern.
Pour is totally creamy looking, no head just whipped chocolate cream on top, typical milk stout color, deep brown with ruby edges.
Smell is heavy with the roasted chocolate with an undertone of the vanilla. I'm very much used the the normal strain of this brew and this has an extra layer of depth to it. Definate burnt grain.
Flavor is inspired, not sure if it is the cask helping it along or what but this is one amazing beer. Flavors take subtle turns through burnt chocolate, vanilla bean, soy sauce, even some dark fruit.
Creamy and satisfying, adding layers to the beer thats without a doubt. I had two but could have done these all night had we not gotten there so late.
