Poured into a snifter. Hazy bright golden color with a large frothy white head. Nice lacing. Aroma mainly grapefruit zest with some floral notes. Bracing bitterness up front with grapefruit pith. Some bready malt but not much else. Grapefruit on the finish. Very juicy - wonder if juice was added at packaging. Dry, clean finish.

Pours an effervescent gold with 2 fingers of cream colored head. Good lacing & head retention

S: Grapefruit, oranges,

T: Grapefruit,, breadyness, sweet oranges up front. Grapefruit is stronger as this warms, breadyness and dryness as well. Finishes dry with pink grapefruit & breadyness

MF: Medium body, restrained carbonation, lovely balance

Had this on draft a few weeks back, the canned version is superior. Would put this in the rotation if feasible

I used to be afraid of an ibu this high. This is delicious. Dark goldenrod, smell of honey? Grapefruit hoppy taste, light refreshing, really good.

Can came from Wasatch. Thanks John!

Pours hazy orange yellow, great head of foam, fairly good lacing.

Massive nose of grapefruit(it's part of the name!), pine, cracker malt.

Juicy grapefruit taste, almost expected some pulp. Pine is present, cracker malt takes some work to pull out.

Mouthfeel is fine, alcohol is noticeable after the very first sip; I can deal with that.

Very good offering from the gang at Dry Dock.

12 oz. Can
Best By: 10/10/2017

Pours a pretty nice slightly hazy dark golden yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a really nice thick/creamy two-finger off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, slightly malty, with a big grapefruit note, with some citrus, piney. The taste is hoppy, malty, big grapefruit note, with some citrus, piney. Medium body, ABV could be hidden better, dry/bitter finish. Overall, tasty, but a little overboard on the grapefruit though.

Ok, so I have been lurking but felt that I would throw some feedback as a first time poster. Was recommended this beer from a friend, told him I would kick him in the grapefruits if this wasn't good since it is a little more expensive than my usuals, Sierra Nevada Torpedo or Odell's IPA.

So my review:
I'm not much into looks, kind of pedestrian that way. But per the other reviews, it was poured into a clean beer glass. Finger and a half head. While I was pouring it, i smelled alcohol and thought that it would be overwhelming. I then took a whiff of the can and got a lot of grapefruit.
It initially tastes like grapefruit, like the kind you have for breakfast with a little sugar on top. Then it is smooth. Maybe a little malt.
I really like this beer, I don't taste the alcohol that I initially smelled. This is a great beer, maybe a little pricey but I def enjoyed it.
