Double Apricot Blonde is twice as good as regular Apricot Blonde! Ok, not really, because they're both good, but this one is actually very different. You'd think the barrel aging in apricot puree would make the beer even sweeter, but it really didn't. You definitely get the whiskey barrel flavor, and maybe a bit of the other flavors described on the label. Doesn't taste boozy like some barrel-aged beers do. All told, a very solid offering, and I'm excited to see what else this series will produce.
