a truly exceptional specimen in the style, one of the better dry dock beers i have had in some time! its absolutely perfectly crystal clear, light golden in color but very bright and lively in the glass, amassing over an inch of lasting white head, beautiful beer! it smells and tastes almost as good as it looks, a light and simple pale mash, pils type and a little corn i would think, faintly sweet in the nose but dry when i drink it, some crackery breadiness to it, but simple and approachable and refined. some minerals, some clean lager type yeast, and some noble type hops, grassy and lightly citrusy and just bitter enough to make it crisp in the finish. this is infinitely drinkable and refreshing, and quite a bit more tidy than any other cream ale out there right now that i am aware of. its also cool that its a little stronger than most, 6% abv is high for the style, but this drinks as light as can be. excellent yellow beer, sure to convert any yellow beer drinker to craft, but also something they should scale up and can for the summer! one of their best in awhile!
