On tap at the brewpub.
Black body with a semi-durable head. Minimal lacing.
Nice aroma with sweet and dark roasted malts. The flavor is dominated by very dark roasted grains and has more char than I'd like.
Smooth, lightly carbonated body.

I had a pint of this porter on Monday night. I will have another, it was on a hand pull & I was unimpressed. Not unhappy or disappointed, but unimpressed. It is not a bad beer, but it was not great. The overall impression I was left with was slightly watery. It lack the robust nature I have come to expect from a porter. I will try it again when it is off hand pull/ cask. It is not a good choice for that delivery method.

Nitro Naked Porter on tap at the brewery. Chose this one first before a 10oz of the vanilla porter. (knew the vanilla was overpowering). This is a great beer, plain and simple. Smooth, creamy, roasty notes with no malt to the nose here. It was a great drinker that I'd have all night If I could. They dialed in the porter on this one as the nitro makes it even better for a porter.

This brewery is knocking out some crazy good brews, keep an eye out...

On tap at the Dry Dock brewery, dark black with a coffee colored head. This looks pretty good, smells roasty and tastes pretty nice. I actually really enjoyed this beer but I am a total sucker for porters. I will say that this was better than the vanilla porter in my opinion.

Co-ed naked drinking? Pours a dark black color with light brown hues around the edges. Not much in transparency but there was a great light brown head. Great retention and limited lacing both lasting though the taste.

The nose is mostly roasty. Not much of a malt backing as roast really dominates anything else. Some minor coffee notes and a touch of lactic almost like oats but wouldn't be surprised if they added milk sugar.

The taste is rich. The malt is more apparent but the roast really dominates. A more milk coffee/latte thing comes out that is more detectable in the back end. Also when it warms as well. Some sugary notes that is noticeable in the finish. Reminds me of brown sugar. Clean yeast smell. A hint of earthy hops on the back end but light.

The body is hard to pick out with the roast but has a sweet finish and leaves a more moderate feel. Overall very tasty but would like to see more complexity. Love the roast though!

Poured from a growler into a Dry Dock tulip glass. Beer was dark brown, almost black in oclor with a small, light brown head. Moderate carbonation and very light lacing.

Aroma was sweet and malty with undertones of chocolate, roasted coffee and oats.

Taste was sweet and balanced. Lightly bitter coffee, roasted grains and malt flavors are present. Just a hint of hops in the finish.

This beer goes down smooth and easy. A nice addition to the Dry Dock lineup, but I'm a huge fan of their Vanilla Porter, which is tough to beat. They've also made small batches of a Raspberry Porter and Coconut Porter. There's a lot of possibilities with this one and I hope they continue to experiment.
