Poured from tap into a Dry Dock tulip. Beer was a slightly hazy, copper color. Off-white, one finger head with moderate lacing remaining around the glass. Soft carbonation.
Aroma was spicy with cloves, light pepper, sweet caramel and malt, apples and yeast.
Taste was moderately spicy with notes of bread, yeast and light fruit. Very tasty and well crafted beer.
My hat goes off to Kevin and the Dry Dock crew. This is a fantastic beer and pretty impressive for an American made, Belgian style beer.
Well worth seeking this beer out. They also have a tripel on tap at the brewery that is just as good.
