Poured from a growler into a Urthel chalice. Beer was a hazy, dark orange color with a one finger, light tan head. Soft carbonation and light lacing around the glass.
Aroma was heavy pine hops, grass, a touch of citrus and notes of caramel and malt.
Big, aggressive bitter hop flavors. Lightly sweet with a long, bitter finish.
Not as thick or syrupy as expected. Very easy drinking for a DIPA. This is another great offering from Dry Dock.
Word is that this one will only be on at the brewery for a few days, but will be back for GABF and some kegs will be aged and tapped at a later date.
