Not too many have tried this yet, but my experience was very different than the other posted review. I thought it was basically a fruit juice with a touch of alcohol, and it was very fruity and sweet. I figured it would be a bit hoppier since there are a few varieties that can impart those pineapple or mango flavors, but the fruit really dominated this beer. Maybe some would prefer it to be more balanced, but this one was much more like their original Apricot Blonde than the subtle Blackberry Blonde that came in the Fruity Booty pack, which I also reviewed. I guess I just figure if you're gonna make a fruit beer, it should taste like the fruit and not just whatever the hops provide. This one certainly does.

I went out of my way to write my first review for this one. I'm really quite adventurous when it comes to trying new beers, regardless of the type. I try and give everybody a chance, although admittedly IPA's are just starting to gain a place with my palate. I think you can smell mango? It doesn't exactly smell like mango or pineapple, but the smells most likely were transformed in the fermentation process. So what results are a smell that in my opinion, not good at all. I was already regretting my decision. The look is golden, opaque, looks like it could be promising. But, it's absolutely not. I went through some lengths joining beer advocate to tell everyone that this is probably, one of the worst beers I've ever had. Currently, I'm mixing it with other beers instead of dumping down the drain. Just realized drydock has 122 beers listed on beer advocate. That's pretty crazy. Maybe they're getting a tad too ambitous.
