12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left thin trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of sweet maple, nuttiness, caramel and toffee. Sweet caramel and toffee taste with lots of maple and nuttiness.

Pours a clear, dark, reddish-brown color; fizzy carbonation, slow-rising with sparse, thin arcs of foam inside the glass. Rich maple and caramel scents in the aroma; darkly sweet. The taste follows along the lines of the smell; heavy maple syrup and dark brown sugar; boozy. Heavy, sticky mouthfeel; nice alcohol warmth.
This beer comes across way too sweet for my tastes. The maple flavor is nice but overpowering. Seems rather one-dimensional and rough to me.
Pouring temperature: 45.3 ℉; canning info: 10.30.23; barrels used: Heaven Hill

Pours with short lived fizz but the body is a pretty, clear chestnut color. Cold, the maple syrup has an unpleasant metallic note, but that disappears as it warms. This is more to my liking than the pumpkin pie spiced version. Sweet caramel, booze, and maple glazed pecans all play really nicely together. Some bitter heat and oak at the end found things out. Good stuff, thanks Dave!
