Wow, is that sweet. Would go well with gingerbread. Or maybe a float with vanilla ice cream. Not much effervescence. Sharp and woody, but mostly sweet. Vanilla, butterscotch, and sweet vermouth. Very pleasant nose of figs and toasted fruitcake. Rounded and Rubenesque. An after-dinner beer. Dessert? no thanks, I'm having a Waltvleteren 12. Black ice on the road? no problem, I've got higher octane in the tank.
On tap at Dry Dock brewpub. A Tripel is supposed to replace this one in January.
