Had a 10 ounce glass at Dry Dock. Amber color, white head. Smells odd, grains and something I can''t place. The description says a sour mash technique was used and there is a bit of tartness that just didn't work well with the malt flavor to me. I didn't like this one.

This was my beer o'choice for homebrew day. We brewed a saison, scottish and an IPA. This blond seemed perfect for the day.
Poured a bit amber/blond with an off white but still bright head. This beer doesn't look perfect but for the type of day it fit just nicely.
This version was 'rose hips' and the flower was noticeable, but not perfume takeover. This beer is light but not quiet. It has a bit of a acidic pinch in the middle and the finish is crisp. Light breadiness gives it substance and the abv is just right.
While not as crisp, or refreshing or zippy (whatever the term) as saison, this brew isn't meant for that.
For spring time, this beer is great.
