very generic red here, thin in body and not enough hops to balance out the sweeter malts. also a lot of residual ale yeast in this, giving it a slightly off old bread type of flavor profile in the finish. grassy and sweet red malt, almost extractish though, not fresh or clean like I prefer my reds to be. needs more body too, watery as anything despite good bubbles. a boring and bland beer, definitely one of the weaker offerings I had from the old mill. forgettable, but not bad in any way. its not metallic or flat or too sweet, it just doesn't pop for me. maybe a good basic craft brew for the uninitiated, but it doesn't cut it for me.

One of the better beers here, but nothing special. Pours a nice burnished amber color, with a little off-white head. Aromas of caramel, brown sugar and maybe some earthy hops way in back. Similar on the palate, with some sweet malt and a late bitterness. Nice mouthfeel and certainly drinkable.
