Appearance - Pours a light copper colour with a finger width of foamy white head.
Smell - Citrus hops, tropical fruits, bready malts, light pine needle aroma.
Taste - Moderate bitterness level of citrus hops that lasts into the finish, along with bready (almost caramel) malts and tropical fruits. Hint of grapefruit peel in it as well.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Bit of pleasant stickiness on the palate.
Overall - A nicely balanced IIPA by Jasper. Good punch of citrus hops supported by a solid malt backbone. I admire the concept behind this beer to bring awareness to Greg Van Tighem's mission to end MS, with a % of proceeds going to charity.
