Enjoyed a 16 oz pour while visiting with Da Boss on 7-16-25 for $9.75 CAD,

Beer was served gold with a nice white head.

Nose was pretty nice, of white bread and crackers along with some floral hops.

Taste was spot on as the malt base gave me a nice grainy and bread flavor, Hopping gave me some spicy black pepper and a nice back end bite.

Mouthfeel was light to medium bodied and very refreshing.

Overall this was exactly what I wanted after a long day of touring!

355ml can poured into tulip.

Pours a clear pale yellow with three fingers of rocky white head that leaves some frosted windshield lace as it recedes.

Smells of snappy grain and breakfast biscuit, faint earth, flinty water and some backyard flower and grass clippings.

Tastes of more biscuity pale malt, grainy bread, more earthy lager yeast, hard water and grassy floral hops.

Feels light and fizzy. Light bodied with peppy carbonation. Finishes dry.

Verdict: Recommended. A pretty nice beer for the last few gasps of nice weather we're gonna get.

Crisp Pils is bright, only sligtly hazy, and the pale amber color of ripe hay. The head is rocky, bone white, and lasting.

My first impression of Crisp Pils' aroma is of something smooth, with notes of fresh bread. Crisp Pils' aroma is actually fairly pleasant in its bready, soda cracker maltiness. A hint of damp earth comes through in the center giving the aroma a decent through note.

Crisp Pils is smooth, medium light in body with a gentle carbonation. Flavors of grain and biscuits lead the charge, before moving into a center that has both flavors of damp earth and hints of granny smith apple. The finish gives me gentle, leafy flavors of hops before fading into the distance.

Crisp Pils is fairly decent. It's crisp, clean, refreshing and has a pleasant character to it. I regret not having tried this pilsner before now, having been put off by its deceptively simple labelling. The breadiness and hints of damp earth definitely give Crisp Pils an interesting profile on a warm summer day.

Works for me, Summertime glee. Pils Euro Continental style for sure and perhaps the greatest offfering from the not so dividing brewery. Hittin' the right notes indeed.

355ml can poured into tulip 21/9/17

Looks the part, crystal clear golden yellow, short lived film, smells of noble notes, grass, spice, some grains, faint floral notes, a hint of citrus, I like it..... light bodied, crisp and fairly clean finish, I thought it hit the style fairly well. I love the can to, I remember having a dozen years worth of park pass stickers on the bumper of my dads old Dodge truck...

I've been dying to try this beer, based mostly on the insanely nostalgic packaging. As a child, Jasper was my summer playground and entrance to the parks required a yellow and brown park pass. The beer is not quite up to the standard of the packaging, but it's mighty tasty. Bright, nicely hopped and (dare I say) crisp. This is on par with any Alberta produced pils available today.

355ml can at Beer Revolution YEG Oliver Square - strange I can't find this in liquor stores around here. Oh, I see why - it was actually brewed at Big Rock in Calgary.

This beer pours a clear, bright medium golden yellow colour, with three fingers of puffy, foamy, and somewhat creamy eggshell white head, which leaves some spotty and sudsy splattered lace around the glass as it quickly and evenly subsides.

It smells of biscuity and crackery pale malt, a mild earthy yeastiness, a touch of wet stone, and gentle leafy, grassy, and floral green hop bitters. The taste is gritty and grainy pale malt, a bit of generic pome fruitiness, ephemeral gasohol notes, and more laid-back leafy, weedy, and fresh grassy verdant hoppiness.

The carbonation is quite active in its aggressive frothiness, the body a decent middleweight, and generally smooth, with nothing really getting in the way of a good time here. It finishes trending dry, the malt and hops collapsing as such.

Overall, this is indeed what it claims to be - a crisp, clean, and refreshing Pils, in the Teutonic manner. Easy to drink, and enjoyable, insomuch as one can procure it on a lazy and smoky ('tis the season - currently, it's BC that's afire) Sunday afternoon.
