Went here on a Saturday night. Complete with multiple bouncers lol.
The atmosphere is definitely 1980s and there were a ton of 40-50 year olds. There were also some younger people who also began coming in as it got later.
Just sat at the bar. Got quick service, there were like 10 bartenders for a 20 seat bar. They had 3 of their beers on tap and the rest was macros with like 1 Lakefront tap. I had samples of all 3 before taking the Vanilla stout. They are just standard average brewpub beers.
This place isn't really worth going to aside form trying the house beers.

This place is local for me so I've stopped in a few times. I was just there this weekend and figured I give it a review.
The place is rather wide open with plenty of tables and a moderate sized bar. It can seem a bit cold and dark if it's not crowed. It's non smoking so that's a huge plus. In the summer they have tables and chairs on the huge patio outside for outdoor drinking. It's about 5 out right now so I chose to stay inside.
They have mostly typical BMC stuff with a handful of next tier "craft". Blue Moon, Guiness, Stella... yaawwn. The main draw is the III Dachsunds beer. Contract brewed for them by Stone Cellar brew pub. The Ankle biter and the Ottos oatmeal stout are pretty good so I tend to stick with them. I wanted to take some beer home but they informed me they had abottling issuee recently so the don't have any beer to go right now. Less then a week was what they said for a new shipment.
The service in this place is always top notch. The bartenders are attentive and knowledgeable. Plus most of them are real easy on the eyes.
Overall a cecent place to have a drink or two. Not huge wow factor but hey it's "brew pub in Cudahy. Beggars can't be choosers.

Located on the part of east Layton ave that is the no mans land before you get into the heart of cudahay. Once inside there's a dark long bar to your right boasting 2 tap towers. To the left is plenty of typical bar height seating. Toward the middle is an open area which allows for the dart boards. Beyond that lies some more tables before the back door which leads to the beer garden. As City Lounge is a non-smoking establishment the beer garden is open year round for all your tobbacco needs.
Being that I went here on St Patty's day it was quite busy, but not over crowded. The service was a little slow as only a couple bartenders really knew thier stuff. Dispite being slow the service was extremely friendly.
The two draft towers offer alot of the "mainstream" beers but they are a great deal better than the typical Bud and Miller offerings. Options included Guiness, Shithwicks, Blue Moon, Stella Artois, and even Lindemans Framboise. The real reason for coming here is the III Dachshunds beers, that are only on tap here. I had the Oatmeal Stout and the IPA. The Stout was pretty solid and the IPA was decent and more of an english taste than I expected. I'd really like to see either more III Dachshunds beers on tap or more local offerings, otherwise the selection was good.
Overall this is a great place to go, good beer and enough other stuff to keep non-beer geeks happy. Also the no smoking policy is a plus. We will be back.

the city lounge is a decent stop for brews. the atmosphere is a bit lofty, and a bit cold, but overall it has decent character.
quality is mediocre. the place is newish, but not upscale by any means.
service is sub-par. the bartenders were horrible at pouring brews. they poured so that the whole glass was head, poured out all the head, then filled it up with head again, and poured it out. this continued for three or four times before they got a pour out of it. very wasteful.
selection is decent. stick to the III Dachshunds brews, nothing else is too special.
food was just bar food, and only small stuff, no meals.
