A - Nice opaque brown body with an extremely small white head.
S - Smells lightly of bacon, but balanced with a nice dark maltyness.
T - Mild smoke, slightly sweet, not bitter. I like the fact that, unlike most gernan rauchbier's this is not over the top in its smokeyness.
M - Medium carbonation, medium body.
D - A pleasant beer. Kind of a let down, because I have been searching for this beer for about three years since seeing it in Michael Jacksons's Great Beer Guide.
