Pours a crystal-clear, dark amber coloration with a large, foamy, lasting head and visible carbonation. Smell is a little subdued, with just hints of bready, slightly toasted malt and grassy hops.Taste is a great balance of bready, slightly toasted and caramelly malt and grassy, herbal hops and a light nuttiness. Finishes with a light bitterness and some bready malt and grassy, herbal hops lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
A very nice , crisp and clean Vienna Lager with a great balance of sweet malts and bitter hops, with some herbal and nutty accents, making for a simple, rustic brew that is easy-drinking and rather satisfying. Overall, an enjoyable, well-balanced brew that goes down easy.
