Hand-delivered from Minsk to Moscow (thanks, Mark), this brew comes in a brown plastic half liter bottle with a peal off cap and a silver and blue label featuring a coat of arms dominated by a "K" in the middle, supported by two lions. Ingredients conform to the purity law. Best before 11/26/05, I opened it on 10/8/05.
Pours a clear pale gold under a 1 finger white head that fades quickly and leaves no lace. The nose is very full, with malt dominating, accentuated by a touch of sweetness. The mouth is very light and very prickly. Nice bready malt taste, crisp and clean. There is a slight, vaguely metallic hops presence in the finish. The aftertaste is vaguely bready, but very mild. A decent brew.
