Dark crisp copper with a thin diminishing head. Aroma was sweet malts, burnt caramel and dried fruits. The taste was caramel, dried fruits and a hint of leather. The beer was smooth and medium bodied with some warming alcohol. This an enjoyable, easy drinking beer.

Appearance: A clear dark caramel colored body with a good head that leaves some lacing
Smell: Understated, but a distinct whiff of caramel
Taste: Strong flavors of sweet caramel and, to a lesser extent, golden raisins; slight balancing bitterness on the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation
Drinkability: Flavorful, but a little too cloying to drink more than one
