12 ounce bottle, no dating I could find on the bottle or label. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this one! Served in a Teku, the beer pours a somewhat murky copper color with not quote an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like figs, caramel, plums, raisins and some clove. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some honey, herbal and a bit of banana flavor. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit slick with a low/moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good brew, wouldn't mind trying it again sometime!

Another fantastic brew from Mt Carmel that is available again and
they have 4 packs and on tap as I write this. This excellent quad
pours a nice medium amber with a very nice head of white foam that
dissipates to a thick ring, thin film, and shows some excellent lacing.
Nose of plums, white raisins, figs, Belgian candy sugars, and faint
herbal notes. Flavors pack in the punch of a great quad made in
America. Candy sugars, golden raisins, subtle Belgian spices of
coriander, honey, plums, figs, and dark crackers notes abound
with aplomb. Perfect mouth feel; medium light body, medium
light carbonation that is soft yet lively with subtle effervescence,
and a subtly dry finish that beckons for more.
This one deserves more attention.
Excellent!
Cheers

Had this on tap at mt Carmel but I'm reviewing it out of growler after 2 days. Doesn't look smell taste or feel different.
Look - dark auburn copper color with a great very slight tan head and lasting lacing.
Smell - sweet candied plum and fig and dark cherry scent with a slight wine in there.
Taste - fruity Belgian dark fruit candy like mentioned in the scent.
Feel - medium body with a lighter carbonation.
Overall - incredible quad! Might be my favorite by Carmel beer!
- Third time I've had it and know it's bottled (2020). Looks and taste more like a dubbel but the ABV is more like a Quad.
