From the 12 oz bottle in a snifter. This solid blonde pours a
chill hazed blonde with a decent head of white foam that settles
to a thick ring, thin wafting layer, and displays some subtle lacing.
Nose of honey sweet malts, candy sugars, subtle herbal notes,
and faint cracker. Flavors surpass the nose with a nice candy
sugar (Belgian that is!) profile verging towards a tripel with subtle
orange and honey notes. Light herbal flavors show with warmth
as well as nice grain elements and soft wheat. Very nice mouth feel;
medium light body, smooth as silk, moderately sweet, medium light
carbonation that is effervescent and lively, and a wet lightly dry finish.
Overall, a VERY nice blonde from a brewery that continues to impress me.
Cheers
Of note, originally had this with Bluejacket74 and Laura and had to try it
again as well as that kickin' hot chicken sandwich with truffle fries that
just flat out ROCK!
Cheers
