From the growler via the brewery in a snifter. This excellent brown
pours a ruby tinged brown color with a nice head of off white foam
that settles to a thick ring, thin light dusty film, and sports some
nice lacing. Nose of mild coffee, dark roasted malts, toasted coconut,
caramel, and faint cocoa. Flavors follow the nose with faint cocoa
and coffee mingling nicely with toasted coconut and roasted malts
with caramel and brown sugar touches. Nice mouth feel; medium
body, medium light carbonation, and a subtly dry roasted finish.
Overall, another solid brew from a brewery that deserves a LOT
more attention.
