Taster at brewery. Pale golden body. Hoppy, dank aroma. Tazte brings so.e sweetness, fruity notes to the pungent aroma. Pretty strong taste for a session..

i appreciate any brewery still owning and claiming the session name in this day and age, the style remains relevant but everyone is afraid to call it that now. this beer is good, fresh and clean, not overly minimal on the grain side, and well hopped, but ultimately its also a little bit generic and uninteresting. i applaud it for being nice and fresh, as well as for not being as thin as a lot of them are, and there is great balance here, restrained bitterness almost makes it drink like more of a pale ale, but i dig that aspect of it. the hops are higher alpha but not overdosed, pine needle and orange zest character, a little muted grassiness too, nice and fresh. the malt is pale but not inconsequential in the flavor, i get some minerals and even some terroir pushing through, and the ferment is fairly clean with this being off dry. its good beer, sort of starting point craft beer, pretty wide appeal flavor profile, nothing radical or memorable, but also rather professionally done, the quality is there. i havent had enough beer from these guys to really have a strong opinion yet, but it seems like they brew something for just about any taste. this is a solid session, but not one that stands out from the crowd...
