My first beer in Cashmere arrived with a big fluffy head of foam and eager lacing. Off to a good start. A pungent and herbal green aroma rose to greet me from a slightly hazed body of honey amber. I took a sip and was met with a taste defined by green hop properties (of an English hop variety?). It almost hinted at wet spinach, but not in any unappealing sense as Im sure that must sound. In fact, White Tail had ample body and came across with lots of local charm. Its very much what youd expect from a simple pale session ale at your local brewpub. Casual and friendly.
