Cashmeres Rattlesnake IPA is defined by green herbaceous hops that impart a grassy quality and a slightly puckering mouthfeel. It tastes almost like a wet hopped beer or a heavily hopped pale, and doesnt quite pull together as an IPA. Certainly Rattlesnake is far removed from the more floral IPAs commonly brewed in our region. The bitterness is strong and the finish is clean. Carbonation was very low with just a single bubble rising at a time through the yellow-gold body.
Not a bad beer per se, but not a particularly inspiring IPA.
