I had a bottle of this in Taverne de la Cluny, Paris on 20th May 07, best by 24/01/11. This is a triple frementation beer, ingredients: eau, 100% malt d'orge et de bié, houblon, levure. At least, so says the label. It poured a nice ruby brown brew with a reasonable head. Subdued maltiness in the aroma with maybe some spiciness.
Tasted quite nice; a Belgian dark ale although it seemed a little "thin". Alcohol (6%) disguised making this a nice quaffable bottle. Nice to be drinking a decent French beer in Paris instead of the ubiquitous K 1664! Merci René Bertrand.

Incidentally, the label lists the brewery address as
2, Chemin du Vivier-Guyon, 08000 Charleville-Mezieres, but it is brewed for them in
De Proef Brouerij, Doornzelestraat 20, Lochristi 9080, BELGIUM.
