500 ml bottle in Mae Kasa, Thailand. Pours a hazy golden orange. Aroma of banana, yeast and grain. Taste: malty, banana, smooth but fizzy. Slightly acid. Average carbonation that subsides. Fair alcohol-free.

0.5l bottle, “07.19” on the front label, pint glass.
The large rocky head is a sight for sore eyes and has good retention. My glass is opaque, making the determining the color accurately difficult. When poured it looked like the yellow, clear beer you would expect.
Light grain and sort of a wheat thin aroma.
It is interesting to find how much flavor resides in the alcohol and the compounds that get removed when you remove the alcohol to produce alcohol free beer. I may be wrong about how this beverage is made. Perhaps I should google it. Anyhow, it’s slightly metallic and corny sweet with a tremulous bitterness.
It’s creamy for a light lager.
I wanted to check the Low Alcohol Beer box and they seem to be quite common in Germany. To me it isn’t surprising that a low/non alcohol beer is light on flavor and aroma.
