The brilliant, bright yellow beer is crowned by a pure white, thick foamy head. The hoppy, crisp, clean taste delivers on the consumer’s expectation; this is a beer that expresses the master brewer’s years of experience in a traditional recipe.
The Paulaner Pils is brewed strictly in the Pilsener style - with the best Hallertau hops providing its typical bitter aroma. Paulaner beer lovers like to tell each other the anecdote while toasting, according to which the pilsner originally came from Bohemia, but was created by a brewer from Southern Germany. And the Paulaner Pils does justice to that.

On draught at the Bavarian Brauhaus.
Gold, hazy, decent head retention that settles thin with a lasting collar that leaves ample lacing.
Pleasant toasted barley, grainy, nicely hopped and balanced.
A great Pilsner.

A super clear, light gold bodied-beer with a fluffy white head that settles down slowly; patchy lacing remains on the glass. Simple and straightforward German style pils; mild aroma is vaguely floral and grassy, mostly bready malt; taste puts the malt up front and center. Very bready and biscuity; lightly sweet, caramel flavor; finishes crisp with a floral hop flourish.
Body is moderately light and carbonation is crisp and effervescent. Very quenching and clean drinking. Not particularly interesting, even for the style, but goes down very easily.

Served at Pilsener Haus Biergarten in Hoboken, NJ.
A: Pours a crystal clear yellow with moderate visible carbonation. Quarter finger tall bright white head that has good retention and moderate amounts of lacing.
S: Aromas of floral hops and bready malts. Not a huge aroma but enough to contribute to the overall experience of the beer.
T: Huge flavors are bready malts with floral hints and a nice touch of bitterness. Just a touch of sweetness like from honey.
M: Crisp and medium bodied with light to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: Easy to drink and enjoyable. Not as clean and bitter as some of the other pilseners I have tried and enjoyed. Slightly out of balance, not quite enough of the presence of the hops.
