Tasted at the 2003 Pizza Port Strong Ale Fest.
Medium orange gold color. Medium head. Aroma is hoppy and spicy. A medium bodied double IPA. Malts are nutty, fruity and sweet. Hops are grapefruity, citrus and slightly bitter. Mellow, very smooth and juicy. Balanced towards the hops, but not in an aggressive way. Nice, drinkable 2x IPA. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is bitter.
