Had a couple of these around 6:30am on St. Patty's Day morning. Served in pint glasses.
Appearance: Muddy, dark brown (not black) body with large shades of reddish amber around the edges. A wimpy (1/8 inch), tight, light brown head sits on top and retains decently. Doesn't look at all like your typical nitro-head; much looser and smaller. Decent lacing.
Smell: Roasted malt, cream, and hints of dark chocolate. Pretty faint on the whole and nothing surprising.
Taste: Similar to smell, but with added citric hops (and quite a bit of 'em). Starts out with roasted malt and dark chocolate flavors, but citric (I'm guessing cascade) hops quickly take control. Not very true to the style, but okay to drink.
Mouthfeel: Pretty creamy thanks to the nitrous, though not as smooth as you'd expect from a nitro-tap. A good amount of citric bite from the (cascade) hops. Medium in body.
Drinkability: I had two of these - no problem. Pretty crappy for an Irish dry stout, but certainly easy to drink (especially when it's early in the morning).
