Reddish amber color that had a white head on the pour. No mas on the head bye bye birdie!.
Smell is like dish water with a touch of beef broth. A hint of chili pepper in the smell. Smelling salt as well.
Taste is Michelada heaven! Spicy tomato base. Picking up on the lime and salt. Also does have like a beef broth thing in it. Spicy chili taste. Does have a beer background. Like a standard lager. That lime and salt adds a nice sweetness to the heat of the chili pepper. Is a bit spicy to warn folks.
Mouth is pretty light but a bit sticky in the finish with that tomato and pepper, lime and salt thing going on. The flavor definitely lingers.
The appearance was O.K. The smell put me off a bit and had me wondering what I was doing. Than I tasted this bad boy. Love that flavor! Great beer for a chili head. This one is a bit pepper spicy. Also has a bit of smoke from the pepper to it. Those who like chilis will understand. Really this blew me away. So surprised at that great flavor on this guy. Hats off to SLO Brew on this bad boy. Or would that be Sombreros off to SLO Brew? Cheers!
