No idea what celebration Uncle Stuart brewed this for: but I'm drinking it because the mate that gave it to me is 59 today, cheers Ant.
500ml Bottle conditioned with a BBD end of 11/2013. Poured slowly into an Abbot Ale glass tankard at home.
Good amber body, clear and clean: on top a full head of uneven off-white bubbles.
Sadly it didn't live up to it's looks: a bit like a best friends 'home brew', he insists you have a pint because he thinks it is the best thing since sliced bread. This had a yeasty, not quiet ready sort of aroma, as did the semi-sweet malty taste, mild hop bitterness evens out the balance but I couldn't get passed the 'home brew' feel.
